Comviva : the new name of Bharti Telesoft

Bharti Telesoft, the integrated value added services provider for mobile operators, on Thursday renamed itself as Comviva Technologies Ltd as part of its company-wide rebranding initiative.

"We wanted to create a distinct brand identity. Bharti Telesoft is seen as a traditional VAS (value added services provider) solutions firm to the service providers. We want to shift focus and want to be an end-to-end managed solutions providers," Comviva Chief Technology Officer Anil Gajwani said.

The new name – Comviva – captures the spirit of the company's new vision to enrich the lives of over a billion people with value added telecom solutions that enhance their livelihood and lifestyle. It also reflects the company's intent to be the leading integrated VAS solution provider in its chosen markets, he added.

Bharti Group Chairman and Managing Director Sunil Bharti Mittal said, "The company (Bharti Telesoft) has grown rapidly to achieve stature and scale.
